How to Join Bitkub Crypto Exchange

BITKUB WEBSITE: https://www.bitkub.com

DAILY VOLUME: + US$140M

ESTABLISHED: 2018

Bitkub Cryptocurrency Exchange is by far the largest Thai exchange and along with this comes a fair amount of trust. They are a legally registered Thai Company since 2018 and comply with all local legal requirements of the Thai SEC to operate in the Kingdom of Thailand. This post will walk you through the simple steps of how to join Bitkub and begin trading Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.

Bitkub does a significant larger amount of volume than any other Thai cryptocurrency exchange. The high liquidity means that you will be able to enter and exit positions easily without waiting a long time for your orders to fill.

One of the other positive features of this crypto exchange is that you can choose to place either LIMIT or MARKET orders. A MARKET order will execute immediately at the current price while a LIMIT order will allow you to offer or bid at a price set by you.

Bitkub currently offers 82 different coins or tokens on its exchange (April, 2023), all of which trade against THB pairs. They regularly add new coins, so this number may change.  You are unable to trade various altcoins against BTC.

Thai Baht deposits to the exchange are free and instant, while Thai Baht withdrawals are almost instant to a Thai bank account for a 20THB fee. This ease of moving money in and out of the system is exceptionally useful. With a verified account, you will be able to deposit and withdraw up to 2M THB / day.

Fees for moving your coins off the Bitkub exchange depend on the network and will vary, but are mostly inline with current rates elsewhere. Previously, a slight annoyance with Bitkub was that they only offered Tether (USDT) on the Ethereum chain (ERC-20). This meant that if you wished to move USDT you had to pay the high Ethereum fees – usually US$20-35 and wait an amount of time for confirmation. However, this changed recently as they added the option for Tether using Binance Smart Chain (BSC) which means that fees for these types of transaction are not only cheap – usually less than $1, but also very fast. This was a very welcome improvement to Bitkub Exchange for its users.

Trading fees for Bitkub Exchange are fixed at a flat rate of 0.25% per transaction which is about standard rate for most exchanges.

The website is available in English and Thai language and there is support available in both languages. Support is very responsive. There is a LIVE bi-lingual help desk, but thus will usually route you to opening a support ticket for the issue. Regardless, support is helpful and responsive.

Given the liquidity, trust, easy on-ramps and response of support, Bitkub Cryptocurrency Exchange is our recommended Thai Crypto Exchange for buying Bitoin, Ethereum and other selected altcoins.

U.S citizens CAN JOIN Bitkub with some extra paperwork and supporting documents.
